We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (permanent, full-time). The Project Coordinator, reporting to the Client Services Manager, will ensure successful delivery of consulting operations by supporting the logistics and communications between our consultants and clients in North America. Travel may be required but is infrequent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Client Leads to plan and execute projects within budgets and deadlines
  • Liaise with workshop participants and other client contacts, including HR and VPs
  • Manage project related arrangements including venues, room and A/V set-up, activities, catering, and accommodations
  • Buy and develop materials, such as workbooks, handouts, and various project supplies
  • Ensure that materials are shipped and delivered in a timely manner
  • Manage program schedules and bookings using a project management system
  • Manage online document libraries of program materials
  • Create processes and reports for program evaluation and 360 Feedback

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCES

  • Keen attention to detail related to logistics, planning, and communications
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • “Can-do,” proactive attitude; willing to take the initiative to ensure successful, high quality, and error-free project delivery
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to meet deadlines and flexibly manage priorities as changes arise
  • Service-oriented outlook, with a passion for helping others to achieve team goals
  • Collaborative and willing to share responsibilities with the team to meet deliverables
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong abilities in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
  • Post-Secondary education required (relevant diploma, undergraduate degree, or certification in Project Management)
  • Eye for aesthetic design of program materials considered an asset
  • Written/spoken French considered an asset

We are seeking a full-time Consultant in Vancouver who will add to the diversity of our consulting practice on the Canadian team. This role will report to the Lead of Consulting Operations in Canada. It will involve approximately 50% travel in Canada and the USA. This is an opportunity for an individual who brings entrepreneurial drive, a keen desire to help others learn and grow, and wants to work in a highly collaborative environment. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference by partnering with our clients to help them succeed through the growth of their leaders. Successful candidates will quickly realize that a spirit of adventure and ability to generate results are two of the key tools for success at The Refinery.

 

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years experience as a Consultant, Facilitator, and Coach in Leadership Development and Organizational Systems. You are highly adept at leading and developing Client Partnerships, and are equally comfortable working independently or with diverse teams. You have spent time in the “corporate world,” gaining first hand knowledge that elevates your development work through stories and experience. Being confident and courageous in your work, you are completely comfortable checking your ego at the door in service of helping others become better at what they do.
